Marc Benno & The Nightcrawlers with Stevie Ray Vaughan For Sale

If you know Stevie Ray Vaughan then you know the Nightcrawlers. On March 14, 1973 Marc Benno added Stevie to his band to record an album in Hollywood Ca for A&M records. The album was not released & Stevie returned to Austin dejected & broken only to become the legend he is today. The band also included Doyle Bramhall on drums & vocals. This recording would mark the beginning of a 17 year songwriting partnership between Stevie & Doyle. This was recorded after the 1971 album Cast Of Thousands when Stevie was 17, & before the 1977 45rpm record of Paul Ray & the Cobras. Both of those albums sell for hundreds of dollars & this recording is right there in the middle of them.
