SHAKESPEARE #1937 free spool direct drive fishing reel For Sale

 This auction is for a vintage Shakespeare fishing reel number 1937. It is a free spool direct-o-drive reel with the model letters QU dating it to 1962.  The reel is copper in color with minor ware on the edges and non magnetic so may be solid copper except for the spool and drive parts.  It has a star release, pin set, nice chrome, stainless arms and nice solid handles. The reel turns smooth and the warning click is turns on and sounds good. There is a head spool cap control for speedy or slow to head reduce anti- backlash. The head pillar doesn't appear to have been taken off but reel has grease and been oiled.  I will provide photos.  Email me for any questions.
