Vintage and Rare Winston Glass Fly Rod - 2 Piece, #5, 3 oz., 8' - Short Tip For Sale

 You are bidding on a vintage and rare Winston glass fly rod made by the R. L. Winston Rod Co. of San Francisco, CA.

The rod has a short tip but can still be fished or could be used for parts.

It started life as a 3 oz. rod, 8? in length, #5 weight.

Other than the 9? missing from the tip, the rod is in very good original condition.

It has the correct wrappings and line guides, the reel seat is in excellent condition and the cork grip is intact and in very good condition.

A local fly fishing historian indicated to me that the rod is still very fishable but it is not a complete example of the beautiful old Winston rods, hence the lower starting price for bids.

The price listed for shipping and handling is for the US only.

The rod will be shipped in a PVC tube to ensure undamaged delivery.
