The spawn is pretty much finished there are still a few late ones. The bite has been tough as the fish are in post spawn but it is starting to pick up as the fish are starting to feed up and move out to structure.

Fish are in all stages of the spawn. Topwater bite is picking up as fish get done spawning and start to feed up on shad on main lake and secondary points.

The most productive bite seems to be deep right now. Stickbaits, crankbaits & jigs are still working shallow.

Deep Fishing is great on the main lake. Stickbaits are coming on up the river.

Deep water fishing is good in this area, fish are really in there deep water hangouts and moving around a lot with the shad. As the water starts to cool into the low 80’s the fish are starting to bunch up and school in areas along with or very close to the bait fish in the 30 – 45 range.

The bass are on summer patterns. Carolina rigs with green pumpkin fish doctor or centipedes in watermelon candy in 25-35 feet deep on main lake gravel points.

Fishing is great on Table Rock right now, average catches from 20 – 40 fish in 8 hours trips on live bait and on plastic if you know of any or can find some the deep water hangouts with some days producing more and bigger fish.

The bass fishing on Table Rock has been great the past couple of weeks. In the Dam area to Kimberling City, the bass have been stacking up on the main lake pea gravel points.
