tampa bay fishing charters fishing report for tampa bay and ruskin fl, the bite has been great on my charters. we have been catching snook on the outgoing tide! they are pinned to the magroves right now! we also have been catching spanish mackerel on the deep grass flats in south tampa bay also we have been catching blaktip sharks in deep grass flats with some bluefish mixed in also some large trout have also been caught. mangrove snapper have also been active the best bait right now is scaled sardines which this time of year have been smaller but the fish dont mind the size of the bait. the best time to fish has been early in morning before it gets real hot. now is the time to book your charter!
