Tampa Bay Nov 7 Fishing Report

Winter is on its way and it seems now that we have had a couple of cool fronts, can't really call them cold when it's 70 degrees out. Fishing has been overall good. Most of my fishing this past week has been on the flats for Snook, Redfish and Trout. We have been doing very well on Snook with lots of fish, up to 60 per day and a few nice ones up to 32 inches. The Redfish has still been very good and we have been catching a limit of keeper's everyday mixed in with the Snook; A few days with as many as 25 ranging from 17 to 26 inches. We have also been catching plenty of keeper Trout in the 16 to 19 inch range with a few larger ones.

I have not been offshore in the lately because of the wind but the Grouper, Snapper and Kingfish were on fire before this last front. I assume they are still biting offshore but it looks like we have another front coming in, so we won't be getting offshore for the next few days.

Well I hope you enjoyed my report and look forward to spending some more beautiful fall days on the water.
