We've been catching plenty of big Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Sea Trout and some of the largest Flounder I've caught in the bay. We're using 15# PowerPro Braid to 40# Seaguar to 80# Seaguar with Longshank 3/0 Hooks freelined in 7 to 7 feet of water over the deeper grass beds. Chum only with live greenies or you'll bring in the smaller sharks. Even if you do they're plenty of fun to catch on light tackle. Remember if you handle them be certain to grab them behind the head and not by the tail. Sharks have no skeletal system and if grabbed by the tail only you could receive a severe bite when the spin around. We've caught 2 flounder last week over 25 inches and trout to 24 inches. The mackerel are huge and will really test you metal and tackle.
