Got out yesterday checking some more spots and had one of the best days I have had since I got started back. Best bait was a crankbait. We also caught fish on a trap but we didn't have any big fish on it. Probably caught 25 or so and the picture is of my best 6 fish. We never stayed just working our best places , we bounced around a lot and believe me there is a lot of dead water out there. When you find them you find them and you might catch 10 or so in a 30 to 45 min. period and then they are done.We hit several on back to back cast also. I have found that if you leave them alone for a little while that byou can come back to them and the same thing will happen.

The water was warming up great until this cold front came in. We had 55 degrees yesterday in a few places. I don't know how much it dropped or what it done to the fish but I will find out on tomorrows trip. I don't believe it will hurt them but we shall see.

I have days open if anyone is wanting a trip. Just call or email me to set it up.
