The fishing the last couple of weeks has been up and down, one day we do really good and the next is a grind and we really have got to work for them. We have been catching fish on several different baits like a-rigs, traps, jerkbaits, plastics, crankbaits and a few on topwater. We have seen some fish that are really active and chasing shad and with the water temp hitting around the 60 degree mark the fish will soon be hitting the beds and it will really be on. We have seen some cruisers up shallow and that first big wave should be here any day. I think alot of the problem with the fishing being up and down was the full moon. It seemed that early was good and through the day was tough and as late afternoon early evening arrived the bite was back on.But it won't be long until big numbers are coming and the action really heats up. I can feel it coming.

The past few days I have been fishing from a borrowed boat since mine is in the shop. The fuel rails went out and they are putting a whole new fuel system in it and i should have it back by the end of the week and i can't wait.

I have days open the week of the 15th and towards the end of the month so if you want in on the hot action that comes this time of year book your day now before they fill up.

Good luck out there.
