My clients Kent of OH and Mike of AR had a blast catching schooling fish this morning on topwater. No big schoolers were caught but the numbers were great with somewhere around 25 by 10"30 am. Then it was off to do some shiner fishing for a big fish Kent lost a monster in the first spot but redemed himself in the second spot with this beautiful 9 1/2 pounder.I have these great guy's again tomorrow for a full day and Mike said it's his turn for that fish of a lifetime. Before today Kents biggest bass was 5 pounds caught in Texas. This area of the St Johns River is only minutes from Orlando,Disney World and Daytona Beach and the fishing will only get better the next couple months.
