<p>APRIL 1ST 2008 - WWW.TUNATIMESPORTFISHING.COM - THE TUNATIME FIDHING REPORT BY CAPT SAL CAMPANILE-WARMER WATER MOVING INTO EL BANCO ALONG WITH LOTS OF TUNA AND SNAPPER .IT WAS NON-STOP ACTION ON 20-40 LBS YELLOWFIN ON SUNDAY AND WE WERE THE ONES OUT THERE UNTIL ABOUT NOON - I'M NOT KIDDING..DID YOU EVER FEEL LIKE YOU GOT TO THE COOKIE JAR FIRST?! FAST TROLLING SMALL HEX-JET FEATHERS WAS THE TICKET, ONE SHOTGUN(WTFB)WITH ONE OFF EACH OUTRIGGER 40 YARDS BACK. THIS ALLOWS YOU TO MOVE FAST AND MAKE LOT OF U-TURNS WITH NO WORRIES WHEN YOU'RE IN THE MIDDLE OF A CRAZY BITE... AND 3 IS ALL YOU NEED .THE PENN 16 VSX'S WERE BUZZING ALL MORNING UNTIL OUR CUSTOMERS FINALLY BEGGED FOR A TIME OUT. REST? WE DON'T REST, SO WHILE THEY'RE EATING SANDWHICHES AND GULPING DOWN GATORADE , OSCAR (MY DECKHAND) AND I START JIGGING AND BEFORE YOU CAN SAY PASS THE CHIPS WE'RE ALREADY HOOKED UP WITH OUR FAVORITE PITBULLS OF THE DEEP...BIG CUBERA SNAPPERS! "DROP THE SANDWICHES AND TAKE THE RODS !THEY GAZED AT ME FOR MERCY BUT I WOULD HAVE NON OF IT...REEL , REEL!! A LONG 20 MINUTES GO BY AND WE'VE GOT COLOR - RED THAT IS AND A BEAUTIFUL PAIR OF 20 LBS CUBERAS GO IN THE BOX - DID SOMEONE SAY SOPA ? ON THE VERY NEXT DROP THE ROD ALMOST FLIES OUT OF MY HAND BEFORE MY JIG GETS HALFWAY TO THE BOTTOM...WHO WANTS TO REEL IN ANOTHER YELLOWFIN?? , THERE WERE NO TAKERS SO I BROUGHT HER IN MYSELF , SOMETIMES THE CAPTAIN'S GOTTA SHOE EVERYONE HOW IT'S DONE . TWENTY MINUTES LATER , NO MAKE THAT 30 MINUTES.. WHAT THE?...UP COMES THE FATTEST YELLOWFIN OF THE DAY , ALL OF 60 LBS AND KICKED MY BUTT ON THE SHIMANO 4500 SPINNER . TROLLING AWAY WE PICKED UP 2 GAFFER DOLPHIN DORADO AND BY THE TIME 2 MORE BOATS WERE STEAMING TOWARD EL BANCO OUR CUSTOMERS ARE READY TO CALL IT A DAY AND GET BACK TO THE POOL AND COLD CERVEZAS .

THE REPORT I GOT FROM THE ROCA CORBETENA WAS AN EPIC RED SNAPPER BITE ( 20 - 40 LBS !! ). INSHORE THE COLD WATER'S GOT THE SURFERS WEARING WET SUITS AND THE ROOSTERFISH SPORTIN SOME SERIOUS LOCKJAW
