6.5lb Channel on shad eyeballs (plus how to fillet catfish)
addendum: See Sept video on - how to fillet catfish for more details and catfish that was bled first. Video shows how I fillet catfish. BTW: my blog has more info- long short short the yoyo had one tiny piece of shad - just one eyeball when I went to bed - then a 6.5lb channel catfish this AM (theory - a small fish got the eyeball / maybe a polywog - then the channel catfish with the huge big mouth got the small fish - BUT when I cleaned the fish - there was NOT another fish in it's belly - so maybe shad eye balls are a special treat for nice size channel catfish :)

Crowl Fishing Trip 2008
Here's the whole Crowl Mechanical gang at our annual fishing trip. This is actually a 380 video of where we stayed. Spider Creek, over by the dam store outside of Eureka Springs, Arkansas. This was taken the Spring of 2008. It had been raining alot this year and the River was swollen. We had a great time and caught lots of fish! Shown in this bit is Rich Crowl (good people)! Vaughn Jones (he loo-key like Eddie Murphy) and Mike Luster as his wonderful loving and caring self. Narrated by Sam Reece. Peace!

26" Brown Trout Revised
This is a small vid I put together of my buddy catching a nice brown trout in the White River in Arkansas. I was just playing around with a waterproof digital camera and thought I'd post it anyway. It really didn't do badly for a point and shoot type of camera. Better than no footage at all...

Why is Danny Nutt Coaching?
Why is Danny Nutt, Assistant Athletics Director for Player Development at Ole Miss, coaching from the sidelines and from the field during football games when he is NOT one of the 9 designated assistant coaches permissable under NCAA rules? ***UPDATE ON THE DANNY NUTT SITUATION (FOLLOWING THE POSTING OF THIS VIDEO) PER CHUCK ROUNSAVILLE: "The NCAA/SEC sent a ruling down Wednesday (November 26, 2008 - exactly one year to the day after Houston Nutt was forced out at Arkansas) prohibiting Ole Miss administrative assistant Danny Nutt from being on the Rebel sidelines during games. They ruled Danny is actively coaching and nobody but the head coach, nine assistants and two grad assistants are allowed to "coach" during games. Houston Nutt protested the ruling, stating "Danny is not coaching. He's encouraging players, but not coaching them." Houston Nutt's objections fell on unsympathetic ears, it appears, despite the fact that there are several ex-coaches who roam the sidelines of SEC games at other schools. The other two administrative assistants on Houston's staff - Mike Beaumont and Clifton Ealy - are permitted to be on the sidelines, as well as any administrative assistants in the conference. Danny Nutt was singled out. It appears the pseudo-campaign some disgruntled Razorbacks waged against Danny and the Nutts got a response. A pure case of vindictiveness and a fishing expedition by Arkansas that got a bite. Sad deal."
