atlantic city fishing inshore bluefin tuna Took a few tuna novices out for some inshore bluefin tuna fishing. Conditions were perfect in the morning, rode out in N 5-10 knot winds, seas 2-3 in swells. Made 25 knots with a full load. Lines in by 6:30 AM. Went 5 for 5 on BFT, 4 30+" 25+ lbs, and 1 just bigger than a football. Kept 1 for the table and released the rest unharmed. Headed in at 11:30 AM when conditions turned snotty, NE winds 10-15 knots with gusts and waves 2-4 in chop. Great day had by all. Can you count how many times he grunts or sighs? I got 7 or 8. You should have seen him passed out on the couch later that day :) Note: I misquoted the NMFS recreational BFT limit at 43" when it is really 47" -- nonetheless, this fish was released unharmed after pictures! Ocean City, MD Overnight Tuna Fishing Overnight fishing trip out of the Bahia Marina in Ocean City, MD on the charter the "Last Call". The catch was scores of Yellowfin Tuna, and the beer was always cold. Departed at 5am on Saturday, returned 9am Sunday. Amazing trip with my boys. Views: 2160 Rating:

Blue Fishing Atlantic Ocean With Roger Muller & Joe Covello On May 17th Roger Muller and Joe Covello anchored between Sandy Hook, New Jersey and Staten Island, New York. As soon they dropped the bait the Blue Fish frenzy started. After an hour and a half they had almost 30 Blues in the boat. Most of the Blue Fish were released because Roger is a member of the Hudson River Fishing Assn., who preaches catch and release if you are not eating the fish. Coast Guard Airlifts Ailing Fisherman ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. - The Coast Guard medically-evacuated a 55-year-old man reportedly suffering from heart attack symptoms today from a 45-foot sport fishing boat 20 miles southeast of Cape May Point, N.J. The Coast Guard received a call at 7:06 a.m. from a crewmember aboard the fishing boat Problem Child reporting passenger David Truman was in need of medical attention. A Coast Guard helicopter aircrew from Air Station Atlantic City and a boat crew from Coast Guard Station Cape May, N.J., arrived on scene. The helicopter's rescue swimmer was lowered aboard the Problem Child to prepare Truman for hoisting. Coast Guard Aircrew Rescues Fisherman http://CoastGuardNews.com ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. - The Coast Guard rescued a man aboard an 81-foot fishing boat suffering from chest pain and shortness of breath 70 miles east of Atlantic City, N.J., today. The Coast Guard received a call at 10:15 a.m. from a crew member aboard the Ocean Princess reporting Bautista was in need of medical attention. Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic City launched a helicopter crew to the scene and hoisted the man aboard. He was flown to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City for treatment.
