Jiggin For Bass
A short film of our trip fishing with my dad off of Martha's Vineyard. We are from Key West but had never gone jiggin before. I had already changed the format to WMA so I could email it to my dad...sorry if the quality sucks.

Foggy Walk
A Briny drizzle drifted cold as the wind swept through the low hanging mist in an obscure embrace at the Buzzards Bay rail station. A smokey trawler slowly meanders east under the railroad trestle into the fog. The steady engine echos in the wake and quietly hums as it churns its way through the moistened air. The Ernestina - An event to raise funds
The Ernestina is an old Cape Verdean fishing vessel that was given to New Bedford 25 years ago. The Feds and Massachusetts can't seem to find the necessary funds for an overhaul, so the group responsible held a public event.

FLOODING BOAT SAVED AT SEA
Coast Guard Video: A New Bedford, Mass., fishing crew, whose 85-foot boat was overcome by flooding, 30 miles south of Nantucket, was helped by the Coast Guard. The seven mariners aboard the fishing vessel Venture notified the Coast Guard that the boat was taking on water and their on-board pumps were not working. An HU-25 Falcon jet from Coast Guard Air Station Cape Cod was diverted to assist, arrived on scene and dropped a dewatering pump to Venture. Once the flooding was controlled, the Coast Guard Cutter Sailfish, from Sandy Hook, N.J., escorted the Venture to Buzzard's Bay, where the Sailfish crew conducted a safety examination. The vessel was deemed safe to transit and was docked in Fairhaven, Mass., about 4:15 a.m. July 14, 2006.
