Interrupted by illegal driftnetters On July 30th, 2004, while bar fishing on the Fraser River, a boat with two occupants proceeded to set a driftnet just upstream from us. The net then drifted through our casting range so we had to retrieve our fishing rigs, otherwise they would have been caught up in the net. The netting done was illegal because there was no openings for driftnetting at the time. The two occupants of the boat managed two sockeye salmon from that particular drift. Rapala: Fishing Frenzy - 102lb Salmon Well, the video quality isn't all that great, nor is there a video which shows me catching it. But it does clearly show that it is a 102lb Chinook Salmon. This was at Potomac River (atleast I think that is the name), and it was 6am and raining, and its the farthest "hotspot" to the north. Give it a try yourself!
