You will see stripers Striped bass boiling on the surface feeding on threadfin shad. When the stripers break the surface to eat the shad it gives the effect of boiling water, hence the name "BOIL". I forgot the mounting attachment for my tripod so i had to lay the camera on the deck, but you will get the idea of how aggressive these fish feed on live shad at Lake Mead. Coming to Las Vegas? Take a half day away from the tables and slots and get out to Lake Mead and get you some. A guided trip to Lake Mead could be much less expensive than sustained gambling losses. Most guided trips include all tackle and bait. I can suggest some excellent guides at Lake Mead if anyone is interested. Come see for yourself. The fishery is year round. Aral a once-large saltwater lake straddling the boundary between Kazakstan to the north and Uzbekistan to the south. The shallow Aral Sea was formerly the world's fourth largest body of inland water. I don't know what is in it now, but, there used to be tons of huge jumping carp, bullheads and perch. I would not call it a real beach, but, people do lay out there. If you are like me and looking for your First Gold. According to what I see on youtube, most of the gold is usually at the beaches and tot lots. When I get a real piece of solid gold (ring), I am going to avoid these places like the plague. Next project?
