Goffstown New Hampshire (NH) Real Estate Tour http://www.goffstownnhrealestate.com -- Tour Goffstown, NH neighborhoods, condominium developments, subdivisions, schools, landmarks, recreational areas, and town offices. Goffstown, New Hampshire is located in Hillsborough County in the southern section of the state. It is a community of 15,000 persons with a diversified business base. Goffstown is bordered by the following towns: Bedford, Dunbarton, Hooksett, Manchester, New Boston, and Weare. Among these towns, Goffstown is second only to the city of Manchester in population. Goffstown is a scenic community with twin mountains, forested hills, winding rivers, and an attractive New England village center. Recreational opportunities abound, including hiking, swimming, boating, fishing, snowmobiling, and ice skating. The town is just an hour's travel from Boston, Massachusetts, New Hampshire's White Mountains and the seacoast. Goffstown's proximity to major north-south and east-west routes, the state's largest airport, and southern NH's major municipalities and business centers makes it an attractive business location. Goffstown is a pleasant community in a convenient location -- an enviable place to live or work. Goffstown was incorporated on June 17, 1761 and is named for Colonel John Goffe, an early settler, soldier and civic leader. Goffstown was originally a farming community. The first settlers in the 1700s found the area magnificently forested, with hardwood on the hill and unexcelled stands of white pine on the "pine plains", which extended along Mast Road. This area was so named for the many pine trees suitable for ship masts, which were cut and hauled to the Merrimack River for use by the Royal British Navy. The first settlement was on the north bank of the Piscataquog River in what is now Grasmere Village, the seat of the town government for more than 100 years. Goffstown Village grew up around the falls on the Piscataquog River, where local industry developed because of the availability of water power. Pinardville developed rapidly in the era of the electric trolley car as a residential suburb for employees of nearby Manchester's mills. The steam railroad also played a part in creating the Town's nodular pattern of development, with stations at Grasmere, Shirley Station, Goffstown Village and Parker Station. To date, Grasmere, the Village, and Pinardville exist as three distinct areas of town. Views: 52 Rating:

Walk For Liberty Day 60 - Government Fishing Licenses http://WalkForLiberty.com C L I C K H E R E http://Blog.WalkForLiberty.com ------ Playing Harry Potter Wizard's chess; Filming a Fish and Wildlife officer bust; Wildlife law enforcement; Ron Paul car; Thoughts on fishing licenses and fines vs private waterways; Crossing into Idaho; Big fish; Mulberries?; Stopping to smell the roses; Meeting with a reporter at the Lewiston Tribune!; The Dalles Chronicle thought Bill Clinton was more important than the Walk For Liberty; Unique crystal; Driving a train for Liberty; Log-capturing robot; Smoke shadows; MasterCard ripoff ------ What are you willing to do for freedom? Vote? Protest? Participate in a rally? Walk all the way across the country? We are. This summer, a group of activists will be walking across America to achieve more freedom and liberty. Our pioneer forefathers trekked across the continent from the east to the west to find a better life for themselves. This time, we're doing it in reverse. I am walking coast-to-coast across the country, from Oregon to New Hampshire. I am joined by my immediate family as well. We're on a quest to gain more freedom for ourselves and for our country by spreading the message of freedom and liberty along the way. Why are we doing this? We see the gradual chipping away at freedoms in America, and want to do our part to stop it. My wife and I are moving to New Hampshire as part of the Free State Project. New Hampshire is already the freest state in the country, which is why we are moving there. But we also want to help bring more freedom to as many other people as possible. Therefore we are walking across America to get to New Hampshire. We are walking all the way there to bring as much media attention and publicity as possible to two liberty-oriented causes: the Free State Project, which is working to make New Hampshire even more free, and Ron Paul's message of freedom for everyone. To learn more about the Free State Project, visit http://freestateproject.org To learn more about Ron Paul, visit http://ronpaul2008.com Follow Our Progress Read my blog at http://willbuchanan.com/blog to learn more about the latest in our preparations for the Walk For Liberty and our progress and adventures during it.
