Northeast Seal Count (2:54) Nine speckled gray harbor seals bobbed around in the chilly waters off Swinburne Island off the South Beach section of Staten Island this afternoon. They were spotted while fishing for lunch during the annual Northeast Seal Count. Paul Sieswerda, curator of the New York Aquarium, led the boat tour out to the island.
