This report is for the last week and a half. I got to fish 6 days on guide trips and with friends. The fishing was very good for numbers and size with fish over 5 lbs everyday and a lot of 3-4 lbers. The biggest fish we caught weighed 8.10 with almost all the fish being footballs. The water was clear to lightly stained until all the rain came then it started to get really muddy the last couple days which slowed the fishing down. We were catching 25-40 a day but the last couple days it has been 10-15. We caught fish shallow and deep with the deeper bite relying on current. Caught the shallow fish in 4-6ft and the deeper fish being in 10-16ft. Best baits have been the Red Eye Shad, Strike king Wild Shiner, Hack Attack 1/2 jig, and the a-rig. Once the water clears up again the fishing should return to what it was. I am booking for the spring.
