For us Yellowtail Snapper continue to dominate the action on the reefs. We have been anchoring inside 90 feet looking for ledges and current and the action has kept our anglers with non stop ligh tackle action. If night fishing we are also seeing the Mangrove Snapper spawn in full swing. These fish are usually showing up late in the evening after 9:00 PM and the bite may last till 11:00 PM. With this action there is also the occasional big Cubera Snapper that show up. Elsewhere offshore the Mahi-Mahi bite continues to be hit or miss. During the day trips we have also seen a consistent action on the deep wrecks for Ambejack and Mutton Snapper. This week we will be hitting the wrecks in the day and the reefs at night.
