[Fort Lauderdale,FL] So here comes the next frontal system once again, and once again we are hoping for an uptick in the Fort Lauderdale offshore fishing fortunes as they continue to be erratic. Some reasonable catches of Mahi-Mahi and a few Sails but we are experiencing some slow days for sure. Again some Jacks and snappers biting with the light north current.

[Hernando County,FL] Inshore fishing action is great right now, in the back country waters the red fish are holding around creeks, and back bays with muddy and rocky bottom. The mud and rocks will hold heat so the fish love to sit in these areas in the winter months.

[Fort Lauderdale,FL] Bringing your children along on a Deep Sea fishing trip here in Ft. Lauderdale can be great fun as long as the weather is reasonable. It's a short ride to deep water offshore here and if the seas are a bit too choppy for the kids we often fish inshore for Jacks, small Snappers, Barracudas and an occasional Shark.
