As the holidays came and went .... the fishing did not! the bite has shown up strong in the Tamarindo area! Tons and Tons of Mahi, loads of sails, and the occasional Marlin. Kingpin Sportfishing reports double digit releases on mahi everyday that they fished, as well as 4 to 6 shots at sails on most days... some days even more...

Winds have arrived with the on-slaught of cold fronts in the SE United States... calm seas are found just a short run from Tamarindo

When winds permit... the tamarindo reef has produced some large snapper and loads of bonita and small dorado.
