Owners Mike and wife Gay had some free time so they took some employees and their family fishing for the day.
Had to get some fish! They caught a 20 lb. mahi one baby mahi:( and three 20lb + cuberas and 2 smaller dog snappers. Had a great time catching the snappers. They are fast and strong! It was a great day on the water. Looking forward to the next trip! This was a quick 4 hr trip and a lot of fun for the day. World renowned Hannibal Bank, Isla Montuosa, Isla Ladrones and the 1000 fathom drop are all a short run away. giant Yellowfin Tuna, Black Marlin, Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Wahoo, and Dorado are all frequent vistors to the waters off Panama.
The top season for billfish is December - April, with the best months being January-March. Winter months tend to be better for billfish. The Giant Yellowfin Tuna are most frequent in the spring, with tuna over 200 lbs. being commonly caught between March and April.
