Garmin Rino 130 GPS Reviews

Details:What sets the Rino 130 apart from the Rino 110 and 120 are the built-in electronic compass, barometric sensor, and the 24 megabytes of internal memory. Unlike the Rino 110 and 120, which requires movement to show a heading, the built-in electronic compass will give a heading while the user is standing still. The barometric altimeter provides extremely accurate elevation and pressure information, which could assist in identifying weather trends and best fishing opportunities. Entirely waterproof, this handheld radio provides 2-way radio communication with a transmission range of up to 2 miles using FRS channels and up to 5 miles with GMRS. In combination with GARMIN's integrated 12-channel GPS, users can transmit their position with a simple button press, allowing others to navigate to their position. The Rino 130 also has a polling feature where it will allow a user to manually request GPS location information from other Rino units. A brand new feature added to the Rino 130 is the ability to detect up to 7 NOAA weather channels with weather alert tones.
