Details:The Shimano Butterfly Jigging system uses the following jigs to vertical jig in the columns and depths of the fish, triggering strikes. These lures are normally fished without bait and go great on the Shimano recommend rods and reels.

I have found the best way to get strikes is by a a fast retrieve while jigging. The great thing about these jigs is that they don't need live bait smell or or anything to get the bite. I fish braid and a 50lb mono leader. The kingfish love this thing in Florida, but most of the time the lure is long enough so that they miss your mono, but if you method involves any slack in the line, than they will cut you off, and these aren't CHEAP!
