Rating: Good all around reel
Reviewed on August 24, 2009 by Dana from UK

I have been fishing this reel for several years with no problems. The drag is smooth and we fish it pretty heavy most of the time with atleast 4lbs off the bat and we button it up even more when a fish calms down from the initial strike.

Rating: Best Inshore Reel - 4000 model
Reviewed on July 22, 2009 by Charlie Tann from Scotland

I have been using stradic reels now for all my inshore fishing that I do around the world. I also stopped using mono and went to braid. I'd recommend this reel to anyone and it is priced pretty good. I have bought mine on ebay.

Rating: Favorite Snook and Redfish Reel
Reviewed on June 19, 2009 by Michael S. from Miami, Florida

I use this reel for big snook and redfish. I have the 3000 series which is the same size as the 2500 but with a bigger spool. I spool it with 10 pound powerpro matched on a shimano crucial rod. I have found the combo to be excellent!

I think the bigger 4000 would be too big for what I do, so I find this reel to be perfect for inshore fishing.
