The redfish bite over the weekend was spectacular. Fish were caught in the slot size (18 - 27 inches) and well above the limit. Bait of choice was live shrimp that was free lined with no bobber. Its been apparant as the winter progresses on, the redfish caught have been increasing in size. The warmer than normal water temperatures have kept these fish in an eating mode and willing to strike at anything you present to them.
