And yet another

As I have come to expect down here in Venice, it was another great day. Left the dock in DEAD calm winds and arrived at Gorillaville to 2-3 footers. We stuck it out for a few hours only catching about a dozen trout, BUT....they were the RIGHT ones. We had one over 7 pounds and another that would have been WELL over 8 wrap around the trolling motor. As the tide switched we decided to make a move and find some calmer water. Made one stop and finished off 75 trout and headed for the barn. The big trout were caught on the Catch 5 Mirrolure and the "schoolies" were on a combo of live shrimp and plastics under PARADISE POPPERS.

Nothing open right now until the end of June, but some prime summer dates are open. Wanna go catch trophy trout on the rigs!?!?!?! Summer is the time. Also, fall fishing is as good as it gets. Its like fishing in May except in the river and passes!! Dont miss out.
