Pulaski, New York - Freshwater Fishing Report
Eastern end of lake Ontario off the salmon River
Shane Thomas

Trolling for king salmon on Lake Ontario has been alot tougher the last few days. We're working hard for a few fish. The kings have been around but they've been tough to catch. Brown trout and steelheads have been much more cooperative. Spoons run 50-60' down off the riggers in 70-80' of water seems to do the trick. Salmon have been scattered from 100' out to 500' w/ the deeper water being slightly more productive then in close. Spoons and dodger/fly combos have been working off the riggers 70-90' down. August is far and away the best month for kings so certainly expect things to turn back around soon enough.
