We had an interesting day Sunday, late start (charter got lost) we had out Jim Sorressen and family. We turned South, slow start in the am, no life all the way down to Ortley, picked at some Weakies in about 45' then moved south and jigged on some nice readings off the piers and hooked up 4 small Bass 22" to 24", then moved farther down found some birds way out and jigged up some 5 to 10lb Blues and some Albies mixed in. Decided to finish off the Weakies off of Ortley and had 8 nice ones from 2 to 5lbs. Bent a lot of poles and yellow eyed demons took some jigs with them but a great day with a slow start.
