Canyon Lake: Water clear; 67 degrees; 914.18':

Largemouth are fair to good in 5'-14' feet along channel breaklines and standing timber, gravel flats and bluff ledges on green-pumpkin tubes, watermelon-red Flukes, junebug Whacky Sticks on jigheads along breaklines of deeper creeks,

JDC Skip-N-Pop topwaters (early or under cloud cover) and white suspending crankbaits which are both effective in back of creeks.

Smallmouth are good in 5' to 15' along mainlake points and ledges using rootbeer JDC curl tail grubs, 6"smoke-red tubes on ball jigheads and Bleeding Shad Tiny Traps.

Stripers are fair to 20" trolling Gizz 4 crankbaits and vertically jigging Pirk Minnows and white 1/4 oz. Curb's striper jigs.

White Bass are slow to fair upriver in 5'-10' on Road Runners and minnows and slow in the mainlake trolling Shad Raps.

Crappie are fair to good upriver in 12'-20' on minnows and Curb's crappie jigs.

Largemouth are good to 5.14 lbs in 4'-10' along docks and breaklines of flats w/stumps or laydowns on watermelon-red Flukes, watermelon-chartreuse

Big Pig creature baits, Bleeding Shad Rat-L-Traps, white/chartreuse/blue spinnerbaits, wacky rigged green-pumpkin Whacky Sticks and pumpkin JDC Skip-N-Pop topwaters.

White bass are fair trolling Shad Raps and Tiny Traps.

Crappie are fait to good over brushpiles in 8'-12' on minnows and white Curb's crappie jigs.
