Fellow anglers,

The first signs of Stripers are starting to show around Sandy Hook channel on sandworms and eels. Not consistant everyday fishing or great numbers, but it's looking up as I thought it would after last Sunday's full moon and that hard northwest wind we had the other day. The water temps have been steadily falling (58.2 in the bay) and that's a good thing for Stripers.

I'll be making my calls today to all my customers to alert them it's time to make your fishing plans. So should you!!!

Tight Lines and Following Seas,

Capt. John
