Cold Fronts and Great Sailfishing (12/14/2010)
[Miami,FL] We have had some really decent cold fonts roll through South Florida, but cold fronts mean one thing and that is very good sailfishing and that is exactly what we have had.
Sails and Swords are Plenty (11/15/2010)
[Miami,FL] In the past two weeks I have done a split of daytime swordfish trips (6) trips, and trips on the edge (5).

[Miami,FL] Starting in on the edge, the sailfish are definitely starting to show up and it has been a very good early season so far. I have also done a bit of swordfishing both day and night.

[Miami,FL] Fishing on the edge has been very productive. Almost every one of our trips on the edge we have caught our limit of kings. Offshore there have been plenty of dolphin around.

[Miami,FL] What a great couple of weeks of fishing. I have fished 20 days already this month and it is only April 22nd. I have had a blast as this is one of my favorite months to fish due to the variety.

[Miami,FL] Spring is definitely getting closer as we are seeing a lot more variety in the fish we catch. Sailfish are still on the top of the list and they have been around in decent numbers.

[Miami,FL] Sailfish are already appearing off of South Florida. It doesn't take long but soon after our first cold front of the year, sailfish have already made their way into the waters of South Florida.

[Miami,FL] The past two weeks have been non-stop fishing. We have been doing a variety of trips from fishing the edge, fishing the wrecks, day time and night time swordfishing as well as dolphin fishing in the Gulfstream.
Big Fish Out of Miami on the Double D (9/26/2009)
[Miami,FL] Whenever we go daytime swordfishing, we are hoping to catch a big swordfish. A fish over 300 pounds is awesome, but a fish over 400 pounds is intense. Last Friday was that day.

[Miami,FL] The bite in Miami has been great and I think it is actually going to get better this month and next as we start to see more blackfin tunas and bigger kingfish, as well as the sailfish and dolphin that are already here
Sails are Definitely Here (1/13/2009)
[Miami,FL] Sailfish are definitely here and pretty plentiful in our waters. It hasn't even been two weeks into January and we already have had some great days sailfishing. Our best day so far has been 11 sailfish caught out of 17 strikes.

Sword Bite Has Started (8/27/2008)
[Miami,FL] The daytime sword bite has started. For the past few weeks, we have had a few daytime sword trips and with the exception of yesterday, we have caught swordfish on every trip.

[Miami,FL] The end of April and so far May, have proved to be a great time to fish in South Florida.We have had as many as 15 shots one day with sailfish (we caught 8 that day), we also had a day with 9 sailfish releases and multiple days with 4 to 7 releases. Add a few blackfin tunas, some kingfish and a big mahi or two, and now we are talking of some great action on the edge.

[Miami,FL] Since my last report, we have had 10 great days of fishing. I ended up fishing 10 out of the past 11 days and each day the fishing was excellent.

[Miami,FL] Sorry for the long delay between reports, but since my last report I have fished every single day but one. The good news is that the fishing has been good.
Big Day on the Double D - 26 Sailfish Releases in One day (2/13/2008)
[Miami,FL] Well not only did things get back on track, but I witnessed the best sailfishing I have ever seen off of Miami yesterday. We ended up catching 26 sailfish out of 31 that we hooked.

[Miami,FL] It is sailfish time! We had a great day this week were we caught 15 sailfish in one day.
