Eventhough it's that time of year again when the weather gets colder, the redfish bit has been fantastic.

Using live shrimp as bait on light spinning tackle was the ticket yesterday in catching hungry redfish. Fifty (50) redfish total were caught and released, and all caught on live shrimp and on artificial lures. The bite was non stop with fish in the 17 inch to 28 inch range.

The trout bite has also continualy picked up as the water temps drop.

Who say's you can't catch fish in the winter time!
