Wow! It's amazing what a little tip of shirmp on a Pompano Jig will do for you. From the start this morning at 8am, it was non-stop action in Sarasota Big Pass. A whole host of fish characters were seen today, from big ladyfish to some playfull dolphins, monster sheepshead, to snaggled tooth snapper, it was like a TV Fishin' Show. Captain Greg, my daughter Emily and I, caught our limit in nice size Mangrove Snapper, in the first hour, then for fun we floated over the local structure and messed up the Black Sea Bass, another tasty treat! Let's not forget those silver and yellow plates, Pompano! 3 in 5 mins! Dang! I will be eating great tonight! Might even use some of the left over shrimp as stuffing for the sea bass.
