The front came thru as NOAA promised and only one problem they had the direction wrong, it blew straight down from the North. We had a late start and headed up the coast to find out we missed the morning bite. We trolled around looking for any good readings and really couldnt find any. We picked up a few fish on the troll 22 to 31" but only 5 fish and lots of Bluefish. We started to move South looking as we were going in since our charter was from Va and one long ride home.

But on our way we found some birds crashing the surface but didnt see any fish up top we stopped and jigged and first 2 poles down were hooked up to some nice size bass 29 and a 32" we boated 3 more keepers (tossed em back for another day) and then those Bluefish came in and we could not raise another bass. By then everyone was tired and had some sore arms, total for the day 3 keepers, 8 or 10 shorts and lost count of those bluefish, great afternoon, real tough morning.
