YESTERDAYS TRIP FOR THE GANG FROM EDISON, N.J. FOUND EXCELLENT JIG FISHING EAST OF THE MUSSELL BANK FOR MOSTLY MARKET SIZE COD. WILLIAMSON 14 OUNCE JIGS WITH TUBE STINGERS ALONG WITH HOT PINK AND WHITE GRUBS ON THE DROPPERS DID MOST OF THE DAMAGE ON THE CODFISH. 59 COD UP TO 19 POUNDS. FURTHER DOWN ON THE BANK RAN INTO THE POLLOCK AGAIN FILLING THREE TOTES IN ABOUT TWO HOURS. FISH MOSTLY MEDIUMS WITH A FEW IN THE HIGH TEENS. HADDOCK SEEMED TO HAVE SLOWED DOWN FOR THE MOMENT. TUNA AND BASS BOATS DOING VERY WELL AT PEAKED HILL. GOOD FISHING, CAPT. JIM
