Fall Fishing

Lake Texoma, Oklahoma - Freshwater Fishing Report
Lower end of Lake

Fall fishing is really starting to pick up with the cooler temperatures we have had the past couple of weeks. Fish can be found at various depths of water. One day in particular I was on fish in 10 feet of water early and finished up later in the morning on fish in the river channel (75 feet). Typically, everyone is chasing the birds, but, it seems I do better when I can stay away from all the boats. Fish are being caught using various techniques. Down-riggers pulling double jig rigs, slabs, sassy shad and live shad are all producing fish. I expect the fishing to only improve through New Years depending on the weather.
