Picky/slow bite for us today... but starting to see more life inshore...
Started out in 60ft of water up to the north... Few shorts and a couple of Keepers... Caught about 8 keepers some shorts, along couple keeper cod and seabass.Made 2 more drops in the same area but only a couple more bites..
Headed out to 85 ft were we had a good flurry of action ... a bunch of shorts and a few Keepers... When that died we headed out to 100 ft but we didnt have many bites there just a couple ling.
Congrats To Billy(lav) for breaking his funk being high hook with 7 keeper size tog. Good Job by Nick 9 years old (soon to be 10) had a keeper Blackfish, cod and seabass to bring home for dinner!!!
We wound up with 15 keeper blackfish, 2 keeper cod, and a couple of seabass and ling.
The guys worked hard to scratch out some fish for the cooler. Everything was still on clams or shrimp for us.
