The fishing the last few weeks have been great at times and slow at times. Some days have been catching 70-90 fish per day then others 30-45. The wind has been the factor that has affected how many we caught because some areas weren't fishable. The numbers of fish are out on the river ledges with the bigger fish seeming to move shallow in the thickest grass available. Biggest fish the last couple weeks topped 8 lbs. Best baits have been Choo Choo Buzzbaits, Moab Custom Crankbaits in Guntersville Shad, big worms, and jerkbaits. You can still catch fish deeper in the 10-15ft zone but the best is the 4-8ft. I have days open in September and October.
