Fellow Anglers,

Once again, Striped Bass are still being trolled in Raritan Bay on Stretch 25's with good results (if they don't get attacked by the Blues) in a number of locations but clamming is your best bet for Stripers without being harrassed by Bluefish. Romer has been giving up good numbers of fish, but you will be in competition with a ton of boats. We fished "outside" at the clam beds and did well. Also "jigging" fish are around at "The Rocks" if you care to make the drive. I spoke to Capt. Mark yesterday and he limited out with Stripers at Romer. Good news for Romer!

Bluefish are over the place in good numbers. Shrewsbury and Navesink Rivers are giving up nice fish if you like big bruisers in shallow water as well as Belford and Leonardo if you like fishing the flats. What great fun on light tackle. **Stripers are also showing up in the Shrewsbury**
