The fishing this past week was like a roller coaster, the swings from good to bad were daily and some days hourly. We had times where the bass were biting real well and then they would shut down for a day or a couple of hours then bite again a little later. The swings for me were especially drastic with the top water bites, one day they were all over a frog or buzz bait and the next day they wouldn't bite it!
Strange week for sure, but not totally a bust as we did manage some fish every day but a struggle for sure. The best fish this week came on Tight-Line jigs ½ oz. football heads along gradual drops off the grass and near the contours and old road beds.
Fishing is tough, the heat is tough but it still beats work most days! Come fish with me I have days available to fish with you!
