Fellow Anglers,

Sorry for the delay in reporting since the 29th, but with a combination of weather fronts coming through and some required maintanence to my engine, I've had to push my sail dates back a few days this week. But "Reel Fun" is ready to go now.

Upon getting reports from some of my fishing "buddies" Striper fishing is in full swing "outside and down the beach" providing you get your hands on fresh bunker and either liveline them or chunk. The exact location moves day to day, but if you put in the time and do some hunting around, you should be able to locate fish. Some really big cows have been landed and I really hope you release all those hefty females back to the water. Fish 30lbs. and over are for the most part females and should be released for our kids to catch in the future.

I've been getting mixed reports on the Fluke fishing, with most of the catch being shorts along with some keeper in tight to land, but for the bigger fish then it's time to start to fish deeper water as it seems the better fish are in 40-60 feet of water around structure, but that could change any time now as those bigger fish move closer to shore.

"Thanks" to my sources who have called me giving me a briefing on their successes and failures over the past few days. Bill C, Greg W, Donnie, Mark, Geno-O, Billy and David.

"Thanks and Tight Lines too".

Capt. John
