Orange Beach, Alabama - Saltwater Fishing Report
Nearshore and offshore of Orange Beach and Gulf Shores Alabama
Don McPherson

Gulf Shores fishing in August is off to a good start with catches of king mackerel and Spanish mackerel on the nearshore trolling trips. This bite should continue through late November. Offshore bottomfishing is producing some nice amberjack, king mackerel, scamp, grouper ...

We will hopefully see some better water move in very soon. The white marlin usually show up in August about 35 - 45 miles offshore. We will also be doing some deepdrop fishing for tilefish and much more. Give this a try. It is a great alternative to conventional bottomfishing. We are fishing to depths near 800 feet.

Come on and let's go fishing.
