I had the pleasure of fishing with two gentlemen from Knoxville, TN. They started the day by catching a fish on the very first cast, which typically means bad luck. But that wouldn’t be the case today. We caught fish on Yum lizard, Yum Dinger, Yum Houdini shad, and the Xcalibur Xr50 & Xr75 in 4ft. or less. Total for the day was 25+ fish but we didn’t get any big fish. Pictured on the right is one of our Magnum Spots from Guntersville. I know it’s not a Triton Mike or Ryan Coleman spotted bass, but still nice to catch.
The Xcalibur Xr75’s are here and they are at Keller’s Tackle on Hwy 431.

Bio: I have been fishing Lake Guntersville my entire life and I specialize in fishing grass on Lake Gunterville. Living here in North Alabama all my life, I have over 19 years experience bass fishing on beautiful Lake Guntersville and other area lakes. I began tournament fishing at the age of 16 in local bass clubs. Not long after I then moved on to the nationally known trails such as Angler’s Choice, BFL, B.A.I.T. and other large local tournaments. If you want the opportunity to catch bass, learn seasonal tactics, and have a wonderful time on the water, then your search stops here. Bass fishing is not just my job, it's my passion!
