Guntersville

The last few days have been great on Guntersville. You can catch fish from the backs of pockets in 6 inches of water or go out to the river ledges and throw big worms and catch fish in 8-10ft. Thursday night had a night trip boating 18 with half on topwater and half on big worms in 8-10ft with big fish of 4 ½ lbs and losing 3 big fish on a worm.Saturday had a great day throwing a frog with 28 fish best 5 22-23 lbs with one over 6lbs and one over 5 lbs. Sunday threw topwaters and big worms on my half day trip and caught 30 with big fish of 3 lbs. Most the fish were caught in 1-7ft on grass edges. The topwater bite should stay great throughout the month and through the fall with the bass feeding on shad all day. Most days my clients and I haven't been putting the topwater rods down. I have days available in October.
