The winter fishing out of this area of the Nature Coast continues to be very productive. Recent charters have big trout and red fish pulling drag in the back country. Live shrimp or live pin fish are the best baits, and white jerk baits on a 1/8 oz. jig are great artificial options. The winds, low tides, and cold temperatures has made it tough to get to back country, but conditions will improve as we move through next week. The tides get much easier to navigate later in the week also. Winter conditions can make it tough for anglers, but can be very rewarding if you fish where the fish are! February is filling up quick, so book your trips ASAP.

Good luck out there ans tight lines!
