Guntersville Lake, Alabama - Freshwater Fishing Report

The last week on Guntersville has been great. Every day boating between 40-60 and each day having fish in the 5 lb range with one day having 3 over 5 and one over 7. The fish seem to be everywhere from super shallow all the way out to the deeper creek channel ledges in 14-20 ft. The best baits seem to be Lucky Craft crankbaits, Go 2 Bait soft plastics, topwaters, and Choo Choo spinnerbaits. The topwater bite has been hit and miss but seems to be getting better as each day passes. The next few weeks will be great. I am booked for June and am booking for July. I will be offering 6 hour beat the heat trips and night trips.
