I had Dennis Frelick and his son on board today. I knew today was going to be a much tougher bite due to the conditions. First, we had clear skies with a very bright sun and no wind. On top of that, the north winds yesterday blew all the warm water out of the bay. Most areas of the bay saw the water temp. drop all the way down to the mid to upper 50's from the 70's just a couple days ago. That said, we still scrounged up a limit. But boy did we have to work for them. We caught them pitching 1/4 oz. jigs again tipped with half a crawler in fairly shallow water of 6-14 feet. South winds are in the forecast, I hope that forecast is right! Good luck on the water folks...
