So today was my last day of freedom before I'm booked almost everyday for the rest of the month. I had a bunch of running around to do in the morning and a Costco run in the evening but in between that Kash & I snuck out for a quick float of the city stretch.
The river fished pretty well but really what we were there for was the dry fly fishing. We got some great video footage of some really nice rainbows sipping continually in shallow water before getting hooked by us. Man when you hook one of these fish that are tight to the bank, from shore, do they ever freak out and head for heavy water in a hurry....gotta love casting dries to rising fish in the middle of the day.
